Well that April Fools comic got a little too crazy so I deleted it entirley. Let's never speak of it again. Glad too many people didn't see it.

With all these Pokemon to draw and color I wonder some days if my artists want to strangle me.

You said it, GB. I regret ever drawing that abominable strip. Nobody should have to go through that again. >_<;

Pokémon are a pain to keep consistent, but I feel they're genuinely fun to draw. Can you really get upset with the characters which embellished and enriched your childhood?

I make no promises about a color version today.
I'll try, and I should probably have it, but no promises.

Still trying to wash that first comic out of my head...

I still don't know why everyone made such a fuss. I thought it was cute.

Hah! That was really funny.

Huh, Bulbapedia exists in book form on Venatus Prime? The full collection must be really expensive. If they re-publish the books at every new generation.

Panel 5 is scary. That Gallade has issues.

There was an April Fools' comic? You know, typically the etiquette is to archive it or post it elsewhere on the site with a couple of warnings... for those of us who didn't see it.

I'm really sorry, Z-2, but you'll have to trust us when we say you don't want to see it. The comic started a gigantic firestorm over on Kotaku which was so bad five members were banned.

Gosh... Er... wow? It's always sad to see how some geek debates escalate into this sort of thing. Not just sad, it's also a bit pitiful.

I understand that you refuse to post the comic itself. Though, this really made me wonder what the Hell it was that got taken so darn seriously to the point that flame wars started. Was it a joke deemed a tad too rude about a series, or was it an observation that some people disagreed with, and thus a debate evolved from good-natured to just nasty?

April fools jokes are dangerous things, people. Think before you make them, is the lesson here... I think.

You realize that the more you tell us that we don't want to see it, the more we're going to want to see it, right? It's human nature.

Exactly. That's why we're saying no more about it.

Or maybe this is the prank all along...

I didn't even know we were popular enough to get on Kotaku.
JokerJay779 (Guest) edit delete reply
I kinda want you guys to tell us what the April Fools comic was about just so we get more of the context.
littlebeast (Guest) edit delete reply
Yeah, I'm guessing the April Fool's joke is that there wasn't actually an April Fool's comic.
GigaNerd17 edit delete reply
GigaNerd17
Tell that to the five guys on Kotaku who got banned.

@ Pokedex Entry: Pokedex Entries are suspected to be written by tweens to teens. It's possible that the entry was written by a single person who had a Gallade like that. ...or one who developed a crush on their Gallade.

YOU MISSPELLED ON!

You know, when I mentioned a Gallade way back when, this wasn't quite what I had in mind.
Anonymous (Guest) edit delete reply
Actually, now that I think about it, shouldn't that Pokemon speech textbox be a normal colored one instead? Assuming that's Gardevoir responding to Dawn's story, of course.
DryKirby64 edit delete reply

I think that's a comment by Infernape.

I guess a more fitting April Fools would have been a page of that Gallade and Dr. Gardevoir dancing, as if you four were actually shipping them, even if it's pretty obvious you don't. That would be kind of funny.

The original idea was someone interrupting the story with "and then they kissed".

I still regret not going with that one.

Hey, on the way to fame there has to be a few missteps.

I'd say your reply was a good enough hint. We're fine, no need to say more.

On another note (moving away from the April Incident), I would be very interested in knowing what the heck Dawn and Infernape are supposed to be looking at in that first panel. I assume it was meant to be filled in with the color version, but since that probably isn't coming...

I see it's the Embassy for the Creepers.

Caught up fast

Anyways, you could still easily do the whole bug/dark fear thing

Dr. Gardevoir DID grow up without a fairy type, after all
yay creepers (Guest) edit delete reply
yay creeper building! i know it's a stupid question but what kind of jobs would minecraft mobs get? also is any videogame creepypastas (ben drowned or herobine) in the city as well or just not there?
Guybrush20X6 edit delete reply
Guybrush20X6
I'm sure any mob that could make itself useful would be welcome. As for Creepypastas...

I saw Slenderman on a sticky note on Doc's fridge. Is that a thing?
