The true-ish tale of why the colour version was a bit late.

Even in this day and age of plots reaching Lord of the Rings scale of Epic (Epic refers to length, not awsomeness) and LOST levels of convoluted Bowser sticks to the old scheme of Monarch abduction. Wonder how long he can rationalize that?

Remember to rate and subscribe, not only does it help you by giving you quick acess and me by being an ego boost, it also helps the comic show up on the Comic Fury popular now pages and such, thus atractign more viewers. It's win-win. Here's the link to sign up as a reader.

P.S. Still kicking myself for that "badness sake" line.

My deepest apologies for not having this ready in time -- I just started Chemistry 1060 camp this week, and it's turned out to be about five times harder than I expected. It's been really taking a toll on my mood and energy, but it also paradoxically gives me more time to work on the comic. Huh.

Anyways, I know I'm gonna get some flack for Panel 2, so here's the explanation: after being beaten by these goofballs so many times, Bowser's perception of them has been terribly warped. His imagination, therefore, portrays them nonsensically in spatial terms. Complete with a quasi-Weegee.

Also, I hope I'm not the only one who recognizes the two cameos in Panel 4.

Unfortunately, Guy wouldn't give me the pencil to write along the walls with.
I would have personally gone with something more traditional, like say,
"Once Upon a Time,
at the foot of a great mountain, there was a town where the people known as Happyfolk lived. Their very existence a mystery to the rest of the world, obscured as it was by great clouds. Here they played out their peaceful lives, innocent of the litany of excess and violence that was growing in the world below. To live in harmony with the spirit of the mountain called Monkey was enough. Then one day Strangefolk arrived in the town. They came in camouflage, hidden behind dark glasses, but no one noticed them: they only saw shadows. You see, without the Truth of the Eyes, the Happyfolk were blind.
In time, Strangefolk found their way into the higher reaches of the mountain, and it was there that they found the caves of unimaginable Sincerity and Beauty. By chance, they stumbled upon the Place Where All Good Souls Come to Rest. The Strangefolk, they coveted the jewels in these caves above all things, and soon they began to mine the mountain, its rich seam fueling the chaos of their own world. Meanwhile, down in the town, the Happyfolk slept restlessly, their dreams invaded by shadowy figures digging away at their souls. Every day, people would wake and stare at the mountain. Why was it bringing darkness into their lives? And as the Strangefolk mined deeper and deeper into the mountain, holes began to appear, bringing with them a cold and bitter wind that chilled the very soul of the monkey. For the first time, the Happyfolk felt fearful for they knew that soon the Monkey would stir from its deep sleep. And then came a sound. Distant first, it grew into castrophany so immense it could be heard far away in space. There were no screams. There was no time. The mountain called Monkey had spoken. There was only fire.
And then, nothing."
A couple of times or so.

Wow either there is not too many people who read this comic that listen to Gorrilaz or I'm the only one who got that Box is using one of their songs
I hope that its just I'm the only one to comment on it, otherwise I'd be very sad that no one knows that song, which I of course I now can't remember the name of... TO GOOGLE I GO!
Ah, thank you Google, Fire Coming Out Of A Monkey's Head, good song/story

Fire COming Out of the Monkey's Head is awesome, though to be fair it sounds like something someone insane would scrawl across a wall.
Not like it'd fit in the one comic.

...you should work for Nintendo. a satirical {{Deconstruction}} would be the BEST direction that CashCowFranchise could go now tbh.

...I just tried to use TV Tropes markup. Eh, the author's a troper too, it's all good.
