The Space Quest games long established that when you are not in control of Wilco, he does everything to deserve what happens to you while you do. Here we see his role in the origin of Gardevoir's reoccurring lunch and bringing out a little Gordon Ramsey in Cooking Mama. Who incidentally, just got a new game this week. Wizard powers at work again.

So are Boos spirits of the dead or just another of the Mushroom Kingdom's strange species. And if the former, does eating a Boo Mushroom kill you, however briefly? And why has the Hammer Bros Suit only been in one game? It was so cool. Making sense of the Mario verse will keep people occupied long after the Zelda Timeline has been sussed out.

I'll be honest, I don't know much about the Booshroom, but as for the Zelda timeline, I like to have a decent amount of lore in games, so I do enjoy reading about the timeline, among other things. Oh, and things like enemy info or stuff like the Logbook entries and scan info from Metroid Prime games always interested me. I guess you could say I love reading and learning.

What a weird background.

Also, to be honest I dont get why Nintendo even tried to write down a Zelda timeline. The only sense that I made from it is that its a waste of time to try to make sense of it. Doesnt exactly add to the story y'know.

According to the Luigi's Mansion games; there are three kinds of ghosts. People who died and then became ghosts; ghost... stuff... that just kind of became unlife forms on their own like regular matter did that one time; and Boos, who are essentially PURE EVIL given form and awareness. Which is a really unexpectedly dark interpretation for such a silly looking ghost, but there we go, that's what's been said. I'm not sure it's explained how any powerup does what it does anyway, and the boo mushroom seems like the worst place to try to start if you plan on figuring it out.

I don't get this one. Why are they suddenly talking about ghosts in the last two panels?

The mushroom Wilco accidentally added was the Boo Mushroom from Super Mario Galaxy. Not exactly a topical gag but this is what happens when you write a script pool in advance.

Why is Chansey so scared? She's a Normal type. Inmune to Ghost. Or the Boos dont fall on that category?

I DO remember the older comics. I remember the Doc and Mama being rivals. Makes me wonder if Wilco REALLY messed up, or Mama couldnt resist messing with her archnemesis. Probably even misguided Wilco unpurpose to put the blame on him.

Nice comic again!! Congrats.

PS: I also have a 55% chance on cooking. I am starting to believe my antics are being written for BM. Time to put on the aluminium helmet (BM is my fav character)

Actually, I believe she is now a fairy type. While I don't know what that means for type advantages, I do know that seeing a friend who you thought might have been killed and possibly reanimated standing (or rather, floating) must be somewhat horrifying.

I think Chansey is still normal. Clefairies became Fae though, that much I remember. And Jigglies.

Huh. Looked it up, and yeah, Chansey is a normal type. Not what I expected from Nurse Joy's assistant.

What should she be called now? Boo Gardevoir, Gardeboo, Gardedead, Boodevoir, or Ghostdevoir?

Gardeboo because it sounds the most adorable of those names.

My first thought was, "Oh no, Gardevoir encountered a Pumpkaboo and got hit by the move Trick-or-Treat!" My second thought was, "Wait, she's too Boo-shaped. Boo Shroom. Huh."

Fun with Mario power-ups. XD

Also, I am way too much of a Pokémon geek.

Umm... nobody is going to note on the fact Kirby injured his feet? How does that even happen?!

I know right Kirby is supposed to be insanely strong.

Kirby was probably a victim of the corner table. Nobody's toes are safe from them.
