It appears the Doctor's condition is having a knock on effect with how the hospital works. It's a good thing old Final Fantasy characters can change jobs on the fly or they might be in (more) trouble.

Bless Black Mage for his (quickly drained) enthusiasm. He wants to help people but he's not a people person. But with patients like they get, it's little wonder his bedside manner lacks.

Oh, and Chapter two of End Boss's World has begun. Make sure you check it out.

Wait till Duke realizes B/WM isn't a girl...

I'm surprised he wouldn't pick the red mage class instead. Then he'd still have access to black magic too.
It's hard to imagine Black Mage without Black Magic.

He contemplated it but decided against it on account of the doofy hat.

"doofy hat"
Blasphemy.
Drackon edit delete reply
I like his hat. Also, I think I'll be referring to BM as Half-Red from now on... Crap. What do I call WM if she becomes a BM?

Makes you want everyone to be like in TLotR and be Gray.

@ Drackon: Well, you could go in an easier and more descriptive fashion. BM becomes Maroon Mage because he's a Dark Red, while WM, assuming she ever takes up the Black Mage Job, would become Pink Mage.

Alternatively, you can call BM as Half-Red, while White Mage after she picks up the Black Mage Job could be nicknamed "Grey Mage".

Unfortunately, as other's can easily see, I cannot come up with a good nickname for a female "essentially a Red Mage, but not a Red Mage". The two suggestions can be argued against by saying "Oh, of course, she's females, of course you'd go the gender route and call her Pink" or "Grey, huh? Are you calling her old?"

I can believe that Black Mage is picky about hats. I really liked the comic where he got in trouble for admiring a lady's hat.

Know what I managed to forget this strip? Make Half-Red's outfit slightly off color, like with the fake doctor Gardevoir's.

Being fair, Silence would be a great anesthesy spell. Sure... the pain is the same, but the patient at least would stop screaming. Genious idea, Roll.

This actually reminds me of an idea I had for an arc where the staff would hire the Pixls from SPM to help around the hospital. Piccolo could do anesthesia, Dashell would help the Mages on their ambulance service, Thudley could help repair dislocated shoulders (though THAT would be painful...)

Only videogame characters, no anime. So no dbz.
JokerJay779 (Guest) edit delete reply
What? The Pixls from Super Paper Mario aren't from anime or from the Dragon Ball series.

Sorry!! Not my fault one is named Picollo :V
JokerJay779 (Guest) edit delete reply
Well it's Toriyama's fault for naming him after a blunt wooden instrument. Now whenever someone hears Piccolo they automatically think the one from Dragon Ball.

If the mouseover text is any indication, Duke's next stop was the psychiatric ward, where he noticed that the good Doctor had changed quite a bit - pink hair, for starters...

Nonsense! White Mage's disguise is flawless!
