Let the Games begin!

The London 2012 opening ceremony was something to behold especially the army of Marry Poppins vs Voldemort and Mr. Bean as part of the LSO. How many dang countries are there for the ceremony to be held up an hour while they trot out their athletes? Oh well that's part of the games.

Props to my brother for the idea for this one.

Those advertisements you see were sto- err, used from Dueling Analogs.
I know little to nothing about them other than that they made those ads and more.

That parachuting from the helicopter would have been so much better without a stunt double..

Good comic, but took a few seconds to figure out what the javelin was. *insert laugh face*

Sonic's arms are blue here, they should be tan. Seems like an error on Box's part as whenever we see the arms there's a line separating them from the body.

Doesn't take away from the comic, though. Nice job. :D

And we fixed it.

Anyway always remember to rate and subscribe so that we know we're doing this right and so we come higher in the CF search rankings.

Ah yes, the infamous Spiny Shell (that's actually what they're called). I really love how both Sonic and the Spiny Shell look in the 2nd panel. But what's up with the 5th panel? Did Sonic become Shadow the Hedgehog or something? Anyway, I love this week's comic and I think it's really funny!

Dat Ad.... It says "Ganon" on it! Do I get a muffin now? :D

What is sonic doing in the 5th panel?
TheMightyBox edit delete reply
Dusting himself off.

How did Mario get a broken arm in the last panel?
Guybrush20X6 edit delete reply
If you've ever fought with a friend over Mario Kart/Party you'l know how often this happens.

I wonder if this is one of those drive-by fanboys I heard so much about?
TheMightyBox edit delete reply
He's got a point, bro.
This is a very unrealistic representation of a chubby, high-jumping plumber throwing a homing, flying, exploding, spiked, blue turtle shell at an anthropomorphic, blue, super-sonic hedgehog at the Beijing Olympics.

Also, didn't Death Battle prove that Sonic could defeat Mario in a fight?
Guest (Guest) edit delete reply
Do you seriously expect them to answer everything?Try looking at other vids. Also Mario is not even chubby in this comic or other game
TheMightyBox edit delete reply
I love Death Battle, I've seen all the episodes. And they don't have to answer everything. And whether Mario is chubby or not really doesn't even matter.

Cuz' at the end of the day Mario is a slightly superhuman man who relies on exterior powerups whose only notable abilities are those of being able to jump three times his height at most, while Sonic has enough muscle and energy in his body to run at over 400 miles per hour.
Not saying one is a better character than the other, but one is very clearly more powerful than the other.

Mario can break solid bricks with his bare hand,he can swim underwater and breaths underwater in 2D Mario games. He can lift heavy objects and if he is fat, could he be able to do long jumps, side somersaults and pretty much parkour.Yeah Sonic is way stronger...sarcasm.
TheMightyBox edit delete reply
Well he doesn't really break the solid brick, he breaks the stuff holding the bricks together. The bricks also float.

And Sonic's arms are about the same mass as his legs, and made of the same muscle fibers, and you know, those muscle fibers do in fact propel the entire mass of his body at the very least the speed of sound.

Also, am I really having this argument right now.
Goddamn my impulse to debate.

This comic would have been good if this guy didn't include a lie in the end.
Guybrush20X6 edit delete reply
A lie? Fiction is not but entertaining lies my spread among ourselves to distract from the inevitable grave.

Woop, that got dark.
