Giga has been having a bout of stress and a lot of work. What's more it's affecting his ability to draw the comic. I'm sure he'll explain in full himself. The upshot is he'll be take in a couple of weeks off.

But don't worry; We are NOT on hiatus.
We have some guest comics that'll be here at the regular time.

Give Giga some words of support and/or advice in the comments or if you want to do a guest comic yourself just contact me.

I've been dealing with a lot of stress on my plate for quite some time now, and a few days ago, it cracked. I couldn't draw any of the main characters satisfactorily all week (and trust me, I tried), and I was slipping into depression again.

As such, I made the decision to cut off most of my responsibilities around the BitForums and to take a two-week break from Level 30's regular comic schedule. We have some awesome guest comics to keep you occupied in the meantime, and I'll be sure to crank out some quality material at my own pace once I've recovered.

Today's comic was only made possible by the use of Crayola Supertip Markers. The change of medium was enough to spur my creative juices into drawing the characters correctly. (And trust me, Roll looked like more like a gremlin the first five times I drew her)

Yeah. So who knows? Perhaps I'll return with a completely retooled art style.

Take your time and don't worry about it. Trust me, worrying about it will only make things worse, so just sit back and relax until you feel you're ready.

Yay Spyro reference!

Yep. Spyro 2 was really one of the games along with Age of Empires 2 that got me into serious gaming instead of tie-in rubbish that you buy because you're a kid and you know no better.

Too bad both series have gone the way of bad business decisions. Sure Spyro is in Skylanders but that's more a glorified cameo than anything.

I liked Skylanders as a game, but not as a Spyro game.
Personally, I thought the Legend of Spyro trilogy was great. Everyone thought Spyro died with it because it didn't follow old stories, but that was the point of it, giving Spyro an entirely new universe, story, and purpose.
